"Helping Gives Meaning" - an old Nepalese saying

 

A few years ago, I discovered something much more valuable than career advancement or monetary gain: helping communities who are distressed, marginalised and impoverished

​

From conflict zones to disaster-stricken regions, from afflicted communities and tribes to remote places of rugged natural beauty, my humanitarian adventures now take me to many different parts of Asia

​

More significantly, these adventures have enabled me to build bridges of friendship with communities of different cultures and tongues, and to show them that there are people who care enough to stand with them in times of need

 

Here are some of my humanitarian adventure stories. May they help shine a light on the plight and struggles of the many communities afflicted by poverty, conflicts and natural disasters. And, may they also inspire humanitarian-minded individuals and groups to arise, go forth, and make a positive difference to the lives of others
